About The Chef’s Press
The Chef’s Press was created by Chef Bruce Hill while he was working in a tiny kitchen of Bix Restaurant in San Francisco. The traditional cast iron weights were too heavy for many dishes and also trapped steam.
Hill created a weight adjustable tool that lets food cook 20-30% faster and is vented to release moisture. This one handy tool offers better results with greater ease. Each Chef’s Press is made from USA forged steel and each press is inspected by Chef Hill before being sold.
